Admission proceedure for PG :
The National Board of Examinations has extended the last date for NEET PG 2018 registration by 7 days. Students seeking admission to postgraduate medical and dental courses can apply for the same on or before Nov 7, 2017. Earlier the deadline for registration was fixed on Oct 31, 2017, which has now been extended to November 7. The NEET examination for the postgraduate medical courses will be conducted December 5 to December 13, 2017, and from November 30, 2017, to December 3, 2017, for postgraduate dental courses.The NEET PG 2018 examination will be held at 86 centres in 41 cities across the country. NEET is the single entrance examination for admission to UG and PG medical and dental courses. Here we are providing the basic eligibility criteria of NEET PG exam:
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized by the MCI.
- Internship: Students should have completed one year of internship or likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March 2018.
- All India 50% Quota seats: Students who have studied or passed MBBS from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir states are not eligible for this quota.

NEET PG 2018- How to Apply?
There is only online apply method is available. As per latest news update, the released date of application form for registration 31st of October 2017. Candidates firstly have to register their official website then they would able to apply online for neet-pg. Once you register with your valid information then you have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, photo ID, SMC/MCI & other certificates in the prescribed format and do payment through online mode only. After that print out the application form for further use.
NEET PG 2018 Exam Format
- Exam Mode: The exam will be organized in online (computer-based test) mode.
- Type of Question: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in the English language.
- Duration: The exam duration will be 3-1/2 hours.
- Session: The examination will be organized on a single day in one session, i.e all candidates will be taking the same question paper.
- There will not be any equating or scaling of the marks obtained by the candidate.
- Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, four marks will be allotted to the candidates.
- Negative Marking: The negative marking will be done in this examination. There will be 25% (1 mark) negative marking for incorrect answers.
NEET Admit Card 2018
The NEET PG 2018 admit card will be available via online mode before one or two weeks from the examination date. Candidates have to take the printout of the admit card through the website and paste a photograph in it. Candidates also have to bring the valid photo ID proof (PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card) at the examination centre. Without valid admit card, candidates will not be permitted to appear in the examination.
NEET Result 2018
The NEET PG 2018 Result will be provided to students on 31st January 2018. The result can be checked via online mode through the website. The NEET PG score will be valid for admission to the current admission session, i.e. 2018. Candidates should keep the printout of the result and preserve it till the admission process gets over.
NEET Counselling 2018
A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the NEET-PG examination. The merit list will be categorized into, i.e. All India NEET PG 2018 rank, All India 50% quota rank, All India 50% quota category rank and State quota/ Private medical colleges rank. Candidates can participate in the counselling process according to their rank. In the counselling process, candidates have to fill their choices of colleges and courses. Admission will be done as per the rank, filled preferences and seat availability.
